FT columbian shark catfish pick-up 92683

I acquired this 3.5 inch fish not knowing it was a brackish water fish. I want to sell this fish or trade it for something else, either equipment or fish.

let me know what you have or give me an offer ! i have no idea what to sell the little guy for.

ill try to get some pics later but no promises since this guy likes to do alot of hiding

I thought these guys could live in fresh, brackish, or saltwater?

they say, the older the fish gets the more salt it requires, or at least thats what ive read on the internet

When they spawn they come from salt water (i think) and have their young in fresh/brackish. Someone correct me if im wrong. But i had a 10 inch shark that lived to be 5 yrs old, if you wanna keep him

so u kept a columbian shark to 5 years old in regular freshwater?

yea, he got about 10 inches long, after ever water change i put aquarium salt in my tanks. but from what i understand all aquarium salt does is improve the health of your fish, and you can buy it in 50 lb bags. it worked well for me, but everyone has different opinions. i use it in all my tanks and i have 10 tanks going and my 3 biggest tanks are all over 200 gallons, the biggest being 375.

if you wernt so far away id buy him i have one at around 9 inches in full salt water ( salinity 024 -pics in general salt forum ) but to be honest at the size yours is i think brackish should be fine . good luck with sell they are great catfish
