I would like to try and trade my large silver aro for a decent size jardini. i would prefer it be over 12", but i will see what kind of response i get first
hes aprx 26". I'm the second owner, but i know the guy who had him first. he's about 2.5-3 years old
great body, no torn fins, very good "color" for a silver
great barbells
slight drop eye in both eyes
eats most pellets and any frozen stuff
he may beat up on timid tankmates. anything over 8" is fine, as long as they can hold their own.
he spooks easily, so i keep some light on in the room 24 hours a day, so my cats dont scare him at night. he's never jumped since i keep a night-light on for him.
I WILL NOT LET HIM GO ANYWHERE WITHOUT A SOLID / SECURE lid. he has jumped 3 times, and survived all 3. I was stupid back then, and since i put good lids on and kept the room lit, there have been no issues.
I would be pretty upset if he died by jumping and i could have prevented it somehow.
i'd rather keep him then worry about it.
