my fugu puffer keeps swimmng up to the tank and back down blowing bubbles as he goes up then back down again to the corner of tank and blowing bubbles is this normal? hes been doing this since ive picked him up from my lfs

ive been using aquarium salt to make his water brackish but i dont know if this kind of salt is a good type to use? http://www.walmart.com/ip/Jungle-Aquarium-Salt-16-Oz/15077469
Marine salt is the way to go, aquarium salt is for healing infections and the like, they also require cool water

im not sure its about 4-5 inches
ive had it in the tank for almost a month so...
its worries me cause when its asleep it looks dead cause the fins stop moving and the color fades out to grey...
ill tap the glass and turn on the lights and the colors come back to life.
i just hope its not suffering in the freshwater environment its in right now =[

Sounds like he's itching or flashing. Possibly ich? Definitely get the marine salt and go from there
wouldnt ich cover the whole body? it just runs the face and makes bubbles but yeah ill most def get some after my gf gets home from work.
what temperature are you keeping it at, i know fugus start doing weird stuff if their waters too warm
