ok how rare are these guys? About how big do they get and whats there level of aggressiveness? thanks for any info

I had one for about a year, had to trade him in when i moved over here to korea. It was an awesome fish, somewhat skittish and super aggressive. Tried to eat every tankmate i tried him in. Never got it too full saltwater which I have read they need. I kept mine at about 1.010 He was about 4 inches when i got rid of him -
Unfortunately, this species has become more available than it used to be. A sure death sentence for all those puffers. Very, very difficult puffer to keep in captivity, even for the most expert puffer keepers. Most live maybe 4 months, before they die. Mine lasted about 8 months & I consider myself very knowledgeable in keeping puffers.

I had one for about a month then had to go on a trip for a week and the person I left in charge did a fresh water change on the brackish water i had him in and that was the end of that. I see them more and more lately but everything I have heard from people that had them is that they are harder to keep than Discus.
