I've been a Fahaka keeper for many years but there is very little information about Fugu puffers out there. can anyone tell me a bit about them. Size, needs exc.

Also a LFS has an interesting looking puffer that they called a Hurricane Puffer it's Grayish, Black with some brown. Anyone know what it is? Kinda resembled an elongated figure 8 puffer. Thanks

Actually, Takifugu is a genus, not a species. There are many easy to keep fugu species, ocellatus being the most difficult.

There are many more fugu species than listed here: http://www.**************.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Marine/?g2_page=3

Check that section for your other un-IDed puffer, too.

Oops sorry, given how common they were in the trade at the moment I assumed it was the ocellatus
