Takifugu niphobles probably, one of the 10 or so species known, distributed throughout Southern China sea to Japan, grows to 12" or so, ominvorous, can be very pugnacious. That particular specimen came out of India alongside some Tetradon fluvitalius topaz indian puffers. Soon after in the tank, he showed aggression towards the other puffers in the tank. They live well in salt or freshwater, I've personally raised babies from 0.5" caught by myself from the ocean to 8" in a year, and were in freshwater!
There are a lot of interesting and rare "fugu puffers" out there, stay tuned!
