I've had good luck with fuji cameras. they have decent optics and are user friendly, but like dixon said, make sure you can manually adjust all of the settings if you're looking to get good fish pix

its not a bad camera but they are limited the 10x optical zoom is a nice feture but because of the small lens it tends to blur easy and the macro feature is not the greatest for the money you would be better buying a used slr have a look in a camera shop some take trade ins and trust me camera nuts are always upgrading 1've bought 4 cameras in a year alone.

I agree, but I hate the memory stick that sony uses......and they have their cheap crap just like everyone else.

Their higher end stuff is nice though.
