I was wondering if anyone had a picture of a full grown figure 8 puffer to scale. I can never get a clear idea as to how big they actually get. I did'nt know if it's 3 inches tip to tip or 3 inch body. If someone has some kind of way to show me about how big they will become I'd apreciate it.

The biggest I have seen them is about 3 inches, but I have mine 6 months and they are 1.5 and 2 inches and have barely grown. Weird, Scat and Shark have tripled in size in the same amount of time and the puffers are the more agressive feeders.
Yeah my puffer eats like a horse. I read that because of the warm temperture they live in that they need to be fed 2-3 times a day because there metabolism is sped up. Do you measure from tail fin to nose or just body length?
umm im not sure i got 2 yesterday and they were a little biger then normal size baby puffers they are like 2 inches and a half both nich color patterns and all 7 of the puffers are fine
