full JD thread

well here we are again... teh baby gups are on my JD side of the tank ( 5 total ) --- <---that long will my JD eat the baby gups???:confused::confused: the JD arent active right now just laying around.. and not showing interest in the gups right now, so will they later then??
 
you're threads are the highlight of my day, i swear, but, yeah maybe.

how big are the jd's? you might be short a few guppies in the next day or so,, if you want them to stay alive i would keep the jd's very fat and happy... too bad you're so far, i would give you a 30 gal setup, i think you could use it.
 
Guppies are definitely cichlid food.

Jack Dempseys are funny. Most will eat guppies, but my big 10 inch male pictured below won't touch any guppies or goldfish.

In my opinion, JD's dont get the respect they deserve. Theyre just so awesome!
Cant wait to pick up my little 1'' JD and GT. Hope my JD grows up to look like yours twhittle.
 
Its not surprising that the JD ate your guppies... Mine is so mean he will kill ANYTHING I put in the tank besides only what is already in there... If I put 100 goldfish I will wake up and every single one will be dead!!!
