I currently have a 55 gallon African/South American Mixed Cichlid Freshwater setup including: -55 Gallon tank and bare real wood stand(can be painted or stained)or left bare wood
-4 ft actinic lighting (two bulbs)
-moonlighting for the night time
-one 200gal/hour filter
-one 250gal/hour canister filter
-3"-4" deep Black Gravel bed
-TONS of ROCK (more than in the tank)
-Misc. items for the water and tank
-Fish: one of each named - Compressiceps, Jack Dempsy, Electric Blue Elongatus, Livingstoni, Nigara Flametail, Brilliant Orange OB Peacock,Pink Convict, Hornet Cichlid, Frontossa, Synodontis Cat, Frangelica Plecostomus.
Tank has been setup and established for about 3 years now. It has been well established, maintained and pretty much takes care of itself. I do a 10% water change about once a month. The fish are on a current diet of ghost shrimp, guppies, and Tetramin PRO crisps.
