Everyone knows that advertisement is a multi-billion dollar industry and usually, advertisements mean a lot more than what is just on the surface. My teacher claims that EVERY ad has a deeper meaning and story about the modern culture, but when I looked through my magazines, all the ads I found were just what they showed, just a fun way of advertising their product.

One prominent example was of Heineken's new "See the light" campaign. From the print ad, all i could conceive was that in order to live the "good" life you need Heineken.

So if anyone wants to prove me wrong, don't be afraid to, just give me a good reason to believe you.

The only thing I can see beyond that is its implying the good life=warm sunny beaches. At least it doesnt go the extra mile and assume I like busty blondes.
I do the same thing with commercials, since film is my forte.
Case in point

Sate Farm is race friendly!
0:35 State farm is good for really busy people like that guy outside the window rushing off somewhere.
0:36 Hey look at this cute couple. Maybe they're starting a new life together and need insurance, or maybe you're single like the lady behind them, thats cool too.
0:39 People with pets are cool with us. Buy our insurance and we'll love your dog.
0:44 We provide friendly, personal service like how this guy just walked in and sat down but somebody brought him his coffee without him needing to order.
Every little move of the camera and every action no matter how insignificant is planned out beforehand and none of it is on accident. Like the lady walking the dog. No idea why they would need that but they tracked down an animal wrangler, paid him and then dealt with a dog on set (which is rough believe me).
