Im on the 2nd day of a 5 day treatment for my synos fungal infection. I do weekly testing and all the water has been ok until now. I did a 25% water change before adding tetramedica antifungal meds 2 days ago and today testing the water im having a 40ppm nitrate reading. Should i change the water and add more treatment or keep an eye on it for the next 3 days until the treatment has run its course?
many thanks in advance!

Let the treatment do its job. Nitrates are only harmful at extreme levels, or if left in high nitrate water over time. 40ppm is pretty high, but don't sweat it, the fish won't die from this. Just do some water changes after the treatment.
