I have been batteling fungus outbreaks for about a year in one tank. 2 nights ago i noticed some of my fish had a lil cloudy eyes so i shut the UV light off and took the carbon out. I added the reccomended dose of melafix and pimafix, now all the fish have extremly cloudy eyes and i don think they r goin to make it. any suggestions? i have been dealing with outbreak on and off for over a year.

It comes form your gravel particals! your gravel propably wasn't cleaned before you put it in your tank. (i had the same problem for 1year and 3 months) even if you drain out the whole thing even with the graveland the tank is dry, it is going to still be there the best way to clean itis to use bleach then hot water to clean out the bleach or one cup of salt for ever gallon you have and leave it for 48hours. it will clean it nothing of your fungis problem will come back and haunt you it will not survie.

Ill give it a try. thanx
