hi my question is has anyone used hydrogen peroxide to prevent fungus on eggs? If so what is the ratio per gallon of water? I just have heard that you can use this, it seems this would not make such a mess as the blue stuff. After all peroxide is just water and oygen. post any info thanks

never done it... ive found that keeping out the light is the best thing for keeping fungus at bay..

I have and I usualy add 1 drop per 200ml of water. I have kept blue ram eggs in a mason jar floating in the main tank. Way to much peroxide is used in a gallon. Somethin like 19 drops not sure how much this in ml. 80% water change from main tank with 600ml of water and add 4 drops daily until there wrigglers. Then just 2X a day about 75% water change no peroxide or they will die. Even one drop there is a reaction.

Youll still have a couple of bad eggs last batch of 100-150 about 10-15 eegs were white.

you should never have fungus in with the fry. keep some plants and leave the lights on this will induce algea and this they feed off. My last batch I didnt feed for 2-3 weeks and then right to crushed flake food almost like sand reaaly fine. i skipped bbs and it worked there a little over a 1/8 in and feed of flake food.

the new babies eat the fungus to help them grow in the first 2 weeks
