Hi everyone!
I FINALLY got my 75gal tank set-up, I will write more about that in another post though, this post is on a more serious note...

I've got my polys in their 75gal tank now, and I noticed that my senegal, Big Bertha, has developed some kind of fungus. She is eating and acting great, but I think I read on here that some one had a fungus type disease kill all their polys, and God knows I don't want that to happen.
The fungus is in 2 patches, and it just started about a day or 2 ago, not quite sure, but it is new. None of my others have any on them. My main question is how do I get rid of it?
I know they are a bit more sensitive to copper/copper based products. Had they been any other of my fish, I would thrown in some Malachite Green and called it a day. Water params are good, ammonia/nitrite are both 0, I don't have a nitrate test, but I did do a 50% water change yesterday. I've got a Rena XP3 running on there, it is cycled.
Any advice on how to effectively treat this would be awesome! The only Med I have on hand right now is Jungle Fungus Clear. I assume that would work, but if anyone has any other ideas, or if I should use a full dosage of it, or only half, let me know,
Thank you all so much!!!
Sarah

I can't get any good pictures, I've taken about 20 as of now, and my batteries are about shot LOL
Moonchild, if its body slime, do you treat that the same way as a Bacterial infection? I know theres like 2 different types of fungus, the true fungus and then Columarius (sp?) which is more bacterial that actual fungus. The big issue is figure out which one before they die :( I'll keep trying to get some pics, or see if I can find a pic of what it looks like online,
Thanks

are they white cottony growths?if so add the fungus clear full strength and as always watch for any signs of stress-Anne

You're welcome
you could have used the malachite green but at half the recomended dosage in an emergency-Anne
