fungus in nostril

My 5" texas cichlid has some fungus growing on his forhead and out of his nostril. it is only a small amount. i bought some pimafix. should this get rid of this problem. and what is it?

Do you have pics? What are your water parameters? Has the fish been injured before?

i just want ppl to answer to if they have ever heard of this. i dont have ppics, i dont no the params right now but they are good last time i checked, and no there has been no injury. so only if you think you know what this thing is answer please.(kinda looks like a worm 1 mm long that is whit and the stuff on the head went away)

could be a number of things. could be you water parameters, could be a injury, for all we know it might be growing another head.

just add salt and raise the temp to 85 degrees. keep the water clean. fungus grew on my oscar lip. I QT the fish kept the temp at 85 and added salt. worked for me.
