What should I do my water parameters a good right now and I have my temperature at 86 degrees.
thier are treatments specificly for fin rot . Also i am pretty sure melafix will workDo you have any on hand check the back label.I know melafix is good for mouth fungis and cloud eye. he seems big enough for treatment.Just go half recomondation on instructions and see how the fish react also are there any others in tank?Oh also pimafix.

Yes, a common pleco, another pbass and hybrid cat. They all seem to be doing fine.
By the way thank you for the help I appreciate it.

What should I be watching for?
the cats are very sensitive because they are scaleless . Overall catfish are tuff but treatments can hurt them, just well the half treatment should not effect but keep an eye and make what ever you treat with sometimes specifically says to give lesser doses on catsAnd aro's.

melafix would take care of that easily, but i would just put salt in the tank, always works for me, the salt and high temp work together pretty well, but just like melafix you would want to start at half dose too cause of the cat, as stated above by hulon

either way you will want to get on it, fungus loves warm water, and will spread quickly

it looks like a prevoius damage that left the fin unhealed.. there are ways to fix that.. by cutting the area a bit more and hope i'll repair itself...
