My stingray has some fungus growing out right by the stinger. When I bought it a month ago the skin shealth was worn off and now it has fungus by the stinger. Should I use Pimafix?

just keep ur water in clean condition it should heal fine ....i personally dont use any meds and all my rays are perfect add a little salt that will help

^^agree^^

Agree as well, anything that ends in FIX is a rip off in my opinion

Clean water is your best friend

IF it becomes more serious and spreads look into Binox, But do not medicate unless it is a least resort and you get some expert advice on how to do so. Medications can do more damage than good

It is still a "new" tank. I redesigned my tank and sump but in doing so I let my bio balls go dry killing off my beneficial bacteria. This is my third time draining it and redoing it. This time I made my own cornerflow covers out of Lexan and resealed the whole tank and used those realistic Pangea rocks and siliconed them to the back. I will post pics soon.

Anyway, I added more salt and cranked the temp up to 82 and put some Melafix in there too. I don't have Pimafix at the moment.

Right now the nitrites and nitrates are at zero or very close to it but I been here before and expect a nitrite/nitrate spike soon enough. My stock is smaller this time around though.
