I have a young adult Texas Blue cichlid. We went away for a week with a house sitter, and ich developed in the tank. We went through 2 bottles of treatment, and all the spots went away except on the eyes. Initially it was just 1 eye, and now its spread to the other eye. Should we get antibiotics? The first looks like it's cleared a little bit, but the fish is now hanging out by the heater.

Think increase your water changes to 50% weekly and add salt 1 tsp per g for now. Test your water and check the ph as well.

31-40% per month is not nearly enough, try either 50x2 water changes or 1 90% per week, 75 per week should be ok as well
