I’ve tried the small guns: Pamafix and salt and the fungus / white spot continues to progress.

was hoping to avoid things that would destroy my biological filtration.

Any thoughts ?

if I go big guns, what would you go with first?
I usually go with methylene blue.

(Water is on a automatic changer 120 gallons per day in a 375 gallon system and filtered with sump and ultima 2000.)

Most people wimp out when using salt, and then it doesn't do the job.
I use 3 lbs per 100 gallons., which equals a salinity of 3ppt (parts per thousand)
I don't measure using tsps or tbsps because if the salt grains aren't uniform, its easy to under dose, whereas, 3 lbs is 3 lbs, no matter what grain size.
And 3 lbs per 100 gallons, won't harm your biofiltration.
So for your tank size, I'd use at least 12 lbs of salt.
If you didn't hit that mark, that's why the ick is still there.

Ich-X worked for me against ich. Just make sure to remove anything in the tank that you don't want stained blue.
Edit: don't use ich-x if you have shell fish or scaleless fish in your tank (I think this applies to plants as well but I'm not sure)

Methylene Blue is not what I'd consider a big gun.

Effective White Spot medication that won't harm bio filtration would include copper but it's easily mis-used and requires a copper test kit, preferably digital.

If you want a medication free treatment, I use high powered UV units to kill outbreaks. One that maintains over 100 mJ /cm2 (300 mJ/cm2 if your White spot is marine). Use a UV specialist reseller, not a wimpy aquarium grade unit.

Feel free to message me if this interests you.

Judging from the OP's description, White spot & Fungus, the problem might be "Epistylis".
If so, Salt Baths, are considered to be the most viable treatment.
