I introduced 4 new Corys into my Discus tank, couple of days later I noticed one of them developing small white patches around his gills and back fins. I immediately separated him and it went away, couple of days later after I re-introduced him everything seemed fine.

Now a week later again he broke out with the same thing and now two of my Discus got it. I did a 50% water change yesterday in the evening, and today I added the medication dosage stated on the bottle. In two days Ill do another 25% water change and do the dosage again. After another 48 hours I am adding a small aqua clear full of Carbon over night and then doing another 50% water change.

The medication that I used worked on Cory, I just did not do full treatment. Just wondering how is everyone's success in the past with Neutroflavine and Povidone/Colloid mixture?

I have not used them,
to treat fungus I have used malachite green and formalin such as forma-green but it is not safe with some loaches and most catfish so I cannot reccomend it, salt also helps as does methylene blue, pimafix is also supposed to work but I have not tried it.

When I was writing the post I was keeping you in mind, as you are one of the only people that would actually respond to an actual name of the chemical.

I am not seeing much improvement after 24 hours, I will wait another 24 hours and if still nothing I will do some major water changes and heavy carbon filtration. Will pick up some Pimafix, as I am 100% sure that my LFS has it.

Good med to start with, if it does not help at least it won't hurt.
