Not sure what this is on my fish. Looks to be fungus. Been treating with Nitrofurazone and doesn't seem to be helping. Anyone know what this is and how to cure it?

Could be slimecoat or fungus. Would check ur water and make sure it’s cycled and nitrates are down below 20ppm. Also check ur water hardness. Looks more slimecoat than fungus but can’t be sure. I’d dose seachem paragaurd or salt or api fungus cure.

Thanks alot for your response. I've been dosing salt aswell with the nitrofurazone. I'll check my parameters when I get in later this evening.

Do you have hard, high pH tap water? or soft low pH tap water?
Most of the species I see in the tank, are soft water Amazonian cichlids, that appreciate low pH, mineral free water.
If (as kno4te suggested) your nitrate is up, in combination with hard water, this can a be problematic combination.

Ammonia .25
Ph 6.4
Nitrate 20ppm
