I was talking to my brother in law last night and he told me a funny story about his fh's in his african community tank.
He decided to buy some new little africans..Don't know why he wanted the little 1's??
Well anyway he noticed 2 of them were missing...So while he was looking around the tank for the lost africans, 1 of the fh's swim by with a new little african hanging out of his mouth..
He grabbed his net, and snatched out all 4 fh's and literally slammed them on the floor
. They're only like 4.5"...He then left them on the kitchen floor for like 5 minutes
...I guess he started to feel bad and scooped all of them up and put them in a 55g...Surprisingly they are all doing fine now, swimming around and eating like normal
...These are some tough fish...
The fh's have been pissing him off for a while now, I guess that was the last straw...
He said they always mess his tank up, and he has to redecorate like every 2 weeks.
Just thought I would share that...he was dumb for mixing them with the africans from the beginning...
