Heya everyone,
so i was just wondering, whats everyones favorite fish's funny/interesting behaviours.
(doesn't have to be favorite fish just behaviour you find amusing).

well i've got a hopefully begining breed pair of convict cichlids, and they've decided to make there home on the open clear glass side of the tank and have been defending it ferociously :)
i know it's a little mean but every now and again, i'll just put my finger right near the glass, like 1-2mm away but not actually touching, and just move it slowly in circles.
my female con, flares up in the most beautiful colours, and her fins come up into a nice shiny blue shade, and her belly goes a deeper orange.
and all this just from seeing my finger right near there home.
and the male con will see her and come join and they do this funny little dance and rush the glass and stop just before it.
To me it's just hilarious to watch them do this.

so i put it to you MFKers, whats your favorite, funny/interesting fish behaviour :)

P.S. thats the male in my display picture, i think its the male anyways, before the female started showing the colours :)

The funny thing i encounter every day from my Jaguar is that the minute i enter the room he jumps with leaps and bounds until i feed him.. water splashes everywhere until his pellets hit the waters surface..such an impatient fish.. never saw anything like it in any of my others... sometimes he has me rushing around like i lost my head.. i cannot believe one fish has me so trained..

i know its fairly common but I love how my RTC loves to be pet and rub up against my hand

By far my Clown Loaches are the funniest fish I have. I laugh almost everyday. I use to have pleco caves in my tank, probably about 2.5" wide by 2"tall and maybe 4"long, and every night 3 of my loaches, about 4" each, would all sqeeze themselves in there. It was hilarious. I have some sponge filters seeding in there right now and they llloooovvveeeee sleeping in the hole. Man do they love their tight spaces. hahahah Also when my rays swim by they will just lay on their side and let the ray swim over them, not even attempting to get out of their way. Im actually laughing while writing this. haha It's just so funny! I will try to get a video so you see what I mean. They are so funny to watch.
