You have a bass? Do you already have a thread about how you care for him?

If the article weren't so unimportant I'd feel guilty about derailing my own thread.

How much can you tell me about your bass? Like age, tank temp, feeding routine and top size so far. Any big problems along the way?

I have never had a problem with them only that now they are to big to keep with the other fish for fear of eating them, both are 16", temp is at 72, i have had them for about 4ys now, feeding is around mid evening,i planned on getting 3 hybrid stripped Bass all at 9" but when the shippment came to Milwaukee the fish were killed due to the postal service throwing other items on top, the box was marked LIVE FISH but they didn't seem to care, and they were beautys, i was so pissed every since then i have been trying to get a hold of the guy and try to get another set.

Wow. It took 4 years for them to get bigger than an Oscar. This is great news. I will likely keep mine in my Oscar tank once he's big enough then. Hope he does alright at tropical temps.

They do grow quicker but i have tryed to keep them at a reasonable size but now i have them in my indoor pond and i know they will grow to a good size, i like the side view of looking at fish, the other indoor pond is for the other natives-mostly sunnies and perch.
