Furniture for Aquarium Stands

I'm looking to add another tank with the specification being that the stand needs to be furniture quality / style as the tank will be in the living room. Looking to add either a 40B or 55 most likely.

It seems that options are either very limited, or extremely overpriced (LFS has nice stand for a 40B foot print $400, 75 foot print $600 etc) and then when you get in to say the Top Fin's from Petsmart they don't have appropriate space underneath for canister filters or have janky sliding doors etc. I don't mind spending $250-350 for a nice stand, but don't wanna go overboard.

Curious to see if anybody has "Go-To" alternatives that work out well and look nice.

I miss the college days when the only requirements for a fish tank stand was that it held the weight LOL

Definitely good deal but trying to avoid exposed filters and equipment as much as possible so base metal frame won't work

Get the 40 breeder or a 33 long for tank. If the LFS does a good job building the stand with quality components pony up the 4 bills, You only live once, enjoy it. I spent 5 bills on a custom built furniture quality stand that is constructed with 2 x 6's and 2 x 4's. It has soft close doors to not spook fish when cabinet doors close. Was it expensive; yup. Thing is built like a tank and looks great. I have no regrets. I could have gone cheaper but wanted something nice and they built it to my specs. My advice; treat yourself to a nice stand.

From digging around online, looks like you're probably right!! I just figured it was worth throwing the question out there to see if anybody had found something that I wasn't able to
