I currently have an adult male nimbocrombis fusco in my 125 gal ( he is sweet!!!). I just pick up a baby male nimbocrombis venestus, and he is currently is a 29 gal growout tank. Will these fish be able to coexist in my 125, or am I setting myself up for a disaster?

It shouldn't be a problem as long as there's no females for them to fight over. Check closely though b/c individual compatibility is different. If you don't believe me ask my 6in male JD that's in my mbuna tank

PHHhmmm.. HArd to say It is well known that Male Vens when adults, that their territory is more than 125 gallons of water 
There is a thread on here showing some adults and in a zoo or LARGE aquarium by large I mean LARGE.. And the terirtory that one male was holding was huge in this tank.... See if I can find it

See if I can find it Your fish should not grow to their full size as their growth will be limited by the size of your tank. I presently have a venestus in the same tank as two Nimb. livingstonii. No real problems other than each having a turn chasing the other. These are in a tank of about 185 litres.
