FUTIAN FREEZE DRIED SHRIMP?

hey guys anyone have any experience with futian freeze dried shrimp?currently feeding my jar some and he seems to like it.is htis a good source of food?

Bought some of this stuff a few days ago, but still no luck in getting my HBRTG to eat it. Purchased this at the LFS because the salesperson highly recommended this food.

Saw a RTG with the most beautiful red tail and vibrant gold colours and it was probably less than 5 inches. Anyway, when I saw how amazing its colour was I immediately asked the clerk what food they fed their aros in the store to have that amazing colour. He brought me over to the shelf and pointed at the can of FUTIAN FREEZE DRIED SHRIMP.

He pulled a Jedi Mind Trick on me and I was manipulated into buying the stuff.

Hope the food works and brings out the rich colours.

I use FD Krill as a staple food for a lot of my fish. I regularly give them market shrimp also though.

Freezed dried shrimp/krill are good food for aros although there have been posts saying that it can cause a protuding anus. It is always a good idea to feed a variety of different foods.

Finally my aro chomped most of shrimp instead of spitting it out.

Been giving this stuff and trying to pellet train my aro. I've been starving my aro from live food like mealworms and crickets in hopes of getting it to eat pellets and a variety of food.

Just don't want my aro spoiled and addicted to only live food.

variety is the key....amen to that!

Just be careful with that brand as the tiny shrimps has very sharp antennas. I killed a large flowerhorn because of it years ago. Break the sharp antennas before feeding.

yea redtialfool good point,i acutally jsut take the head and the tail off before i feed him.thanx
