3 goldfish
1 common pleco
2 silvertips
1 pangy cat
1 oscar
3-5 silver dollars
1 jaguar
1 african knife
1 green terror
1 midas
1 peacock eel

a jag and goldfish in the same tank SN.goldfish and oscar are very messy fish and thoose 4 would probaly make it overstocked

you never wanna mix goldfish with tropical fish and the african knife alone will grow too large for that tank. then when you mix in other large fish like an oscar and a terror you are very overstocked

For my 55 im planning: (all 4 inches) FH, GT and Electric Blue :p (only for a year n half tho)

3 golfish no
1 common pleco no. GETS 2 FEET
2 silvertips silvertip "sharks"? no. ALSO GET 2 FEET
1 pangy cat huh?? don't know what this is
1 oscar MAYBE by itself, pushing it IMO
3-5 silver dollars no, not enough space IMO
1 jaguar no, gets over a foot easiliy
1 african knife ok
1 green terror ok
1 midas if it's the only cichlid
1 peacock eel not with aggressive fish

Pretty much sums it up for me... Why not go with some smaller CA cichlids if you want aggressive fish?

55 gallons are my pet-peeve tank size... they're too narrow to do anything useful with as far as big fish go, and you could just get a 90 gallon and really not lose any more noticeable space over a 55.
Even a 120 could pretty much fit in most spaces a 55 could, they're all 48" length, just will come out from the wall more.

no way, if you plan on keeping all these fish then you are going to have to upgrade within the next month to atleast a 125g! i have a feeling that this could be a troll, not sure...
