This tank had Stingrays in it so I kept the bottom free of any rocks, driftwood, etc.

My question is should I add some rocks or just leave it be???

personally, i would add some rocks or driftwood to the bottom, but in the end, it's totally up to you... that looks like a great tank to start with tho... what size is it?

Well it's a 180. The tank below it is my diy 75 galon wet/dry. I am finishing up polyurethaning the outside cabinet pieces. I made a canopy and sides going up the glass too. That should look great. A few more days and I will be done.

I am getting the Caribe Tuesday or Thursday - 10 of them from Jeff Rapps.

very nice... i'll look forward to seeing pics of them once they get settled in

Is it better to have rocks and such for the Caribes to establish territories or just have a plain sandy bottom to help keep down aggression among the fish?

there are theories about either way, but with 10 in a 180, i think you'd be ok if you added some hardscape to the bottom

dang, you have so many options with newly stocking that 180. i would definitely go with a mixed pygo tank. the way you have it now kinda looks un-natural, unless you could lower that driftwood a little more and like JoeDizzle said to add some on the bottom.

merely opinion, but i would add some more driftwood to the bottom. still can't wait to see what you make of it. GL tho!!

great tank, but i feel that a tad bit of hardware on the bottom would give the tank a certain natural touch. your fish would appreciate that, as well.
