Trying to come up with a stock that would work for a 6'x3'x2' tank we're looking at getting this year. We'd really like to put some big unique fish in with some colorful cichlids.
Some big fish that we liked were red tail catfish, mbu puffers, arowanas, bichirs, gars, datnoids, rays, and giant gourami. We figured the catfish is too big and mbu puffer is too dangerous though.
For the cichlids we like dovii, green terrors, red devils, flowerhorns, oscars, blood parrots, severums, geophagus, firemouth, and frontosa. We thought to make it work, we'd have to stick with more mild tempered cichlids though?
A sample setup we came up with on aqadvisor.com was this:
2x Blood Parrot
2x Red Severum
2x Brazilian Eartheater
1x Black Arowana
1x Senegal Bichir
1x Spotted Gar
1x Common Pleco
Could this work? If not, what could we change to make it work? Thanks
