Hey guys I am picking up a 60 gallon tank and I was just wondering if that would suit the wolffish for a long time and also could I get some other help like temp the tank should be, also some of the wolf fish feeding habits, and also what the tank setup should be like to most resemble there natural habitats, and also the wolf will be all by himself so he should have plenty of room right? Any help would be great thank you!

Depends on what you call a while. I have had many wolfish over the span of many years of being in the hobby. I have had infants in a 20 gallon and now currently two Teenagers in a 220. The larger the tank the better and they grow fast. First what kind are you looking to get as there are several different wolffish and how many?

Here is a profile on a Red Wolffish that does not grow as large.

alright thanks a lot man for the help! you are very helpful. I think I am going to get a red wolffish because their max size is 8 inches and Since i am not sure when I would be able to upgrade I think it is the best for me at this point in time. And do you know how much the red wolffish go for?

I used to have a 60gallon tank when I got my 3" lacerdae a few years ago. Right now I have a 120gallon (4x2x2) now, but it seems my 120gallon is small for her. She is now 16" +
I need to upgrade to 240gallon pretty soon.
If you do not want to waste money, get the biggest one you can afford.

Make sure you have a secure lid Wolfish are notorious escape artists. If theres a way to get outta the tank they'll find - all species of wolves.
