FW barracuda question

Can i keep any species of freshwater barracuda in a 55 gallon tank. The tank is empty now and i wanted to get some sort of predatory fish so any other suggestions will be appreciated also. Thx

Ace Falcatus Or red tail barracuda, They are very aggressive and can get about 8"

Probly not but i don't know much about them.

Go with a Erythrinus Erythrinus Wolf Fish. Mini Monster all day, or a tank of Exodons

Oh and Ace falcatus are the same thing as Red tail barracuda lol.

get a broad nose barracuda they get really agressive they grow 11 inches you can get them at aqua scape online go to oddballs on the page and scroll down you should see broad nose barracuda and long nose barracuda both fresh water but if you want the long nose you have to upgrade tanks because they get up to a goo 28 inches but actully i have 2 of each broad nose and long nose both in a 250g aquarium with a spotted gar really cool but you have to have a 10g goldfish feeder aquarium

maby change your aquarium to saltwater and get 1 grouper and one snow flake eel

i think im gonna stick with Acestrorhynchus falcatus n hopefully it can take care of the over population of crossbred fry i have in one of my tanks. I just cant seem to find one, the local store tried to pass off a fish that obviously wasnt Acestrorhynchus falcatus for 45.00. Im in southeastern michigan if anyone knows a reliable place to by them

You have an abundance of feeders? I wish I had that problem.
