The big bay area
I know the differents between a yellowtail and a redtail but I went to a LFS and I saw one with a yellowtail but had the redtail's body.The yellow tails has a longer and more slender body and the redtails has a thicker body.Has anyone seen these b4?

my lfs sells the yellow tail too, almost the same as the red tail, except's it's tail's yellow. However, it seems that the yellow tail's body's bigger, not as stream lined as the red. I'm keeping a red, would love to keep a yellow tail, but space constrained for now. damn!

If young the body tends to be thinner than when adult
 
the body shape on the 1 I seen is thicker and taller and the face doesnt look like the reg.yellow ones in shops today

the ones u seen at the lfs do they look like any of these pics?
