FW Lionfish question

hi every one has any one kept this fish in complete fresh water, mine is like that right now and I was thinking of keeping him with my polypterus do you think is a good idea?

I kept mine in fw for 1 month and it grew fungus on gills then healed when transfered to brackish. But read about people keeping them in fw for years with no problem.

I had one in freshwater. It lasted 1 month. But I wasn't sure if it was eating cuz it never really moved around.

Depends on the species... all the common ones are bw or sw.
