which do you prefer, a hoplias microlepis or an African Tiger Fish ?
just interested to see which is preferred among the average-experienced aquarist
if you don't know one of them, just google it

personally....i couldnt choose either over another.
wolves have the sheer power while i like the sleekness of the ATF.
and i have kept both..

my current VATF is in a 125g tank.4x2x2.
used to have a school of 6 VATFs and a GATF in a 4x3x3 for a while.

A shoal of atf is stunning. It is hard to do but has been done before. But on the other hand i have never heard of a shoal of wolves.

it would be amazing to watch during feeding time too
i've heard of wolve schools.... only golds though
everything else seems to kill each other off one by one
