Sculpin can be hard to keep (water at or below 70 degrees and lots of O2). I would rather see that guy in a 20 gallon but which sculpin is it?
Don't plan on keeping lots of small tankmates with sculpin as they have large mouths and know how to use them.
Everything, I have also kept mottled sculpins and a few others, there are at least 29 FW species in the USA, most have no venom glands but do have sharp cheek spines that have an irritating slime coat. Most are from the Pacific northwest. None live more than a few years, many only live 2 years. Very few tolerate temps above 65F for very long and prefer lower, though there are a couple of exceptions that can go to the mid 70sF such as the Potomac sculpin that has been reported in the James river of Virginia. They eat anything small enough and preferably moving, I have had 2" ones eat , or at least partially swallow and kill, minnows that were 3" long.gibbles;647891;647891 said:what did you feed it?
