anyone keep these oscar-the-crouch looking fish?

i am thinking of getting one. i know they are brackish and can get 12".

can they have tankmates... such as a green puffer?

They would probibly be fine with something 1 and a half times bigger than them.
Probibly not a puffer though. Mean and fatal if ingested.

no puffers. maybe some big archers or scats.

they will eat the puffer in no time. need brackish water. easy to lean onto frozen foods

i had one and it was pretty cool to watch eat but thats about it. it just stayed in one place all day. No puffers because youll end up with 2 dead fish. My oscar ate my green puffer and the oscar died and the puffer died later of injuries.
