Does this sound like sufficient filtration -BIO /MECH ? I plan to house 1- Motoro stingray , 1-pbass (orino if i can find one!!!hint) and maybe a dovii ..
(and yes i know I have to eventually move up in tank size)

I know filtration is excpecially critical for sting rays . should I step up the wet dry in size ? , I believe its rated for 92gal. only , or can I get by with it ??

I also may add a couple AC 110'S

Thanks..

sounds good to me. Are you thinking about buying the Eheim wet/dry or do you allready have it? I would probally go with a differn't Eheim imho if you don't allredy have it.

From what I have read the FX5 will be great for mech but you will have to rinse it out quite offen. The eheim for bio can go for months with out cleaning.

If it was my money and I wanted a Eheim I would choose one of the cheaper priced one's that come with the complete media package.

Like the 2217 from Dr. Foster and Smith for $135.99, item #CK-910098.

or the 2028 for $199 shipped from Marine depot,

Or just get the 2260 from Dr. & Smith for $250 item #CK-902353 and skip the FX5.
but the 2260 need quick dissconects that cost about $70, shop arround, Big Als ect. and 17 liters of Media that can be real costly if you want the eheim stuff.

Check out wildlifesupplyclub.com for a great price on elfisubstrat pro media.

just my humble opinion, lets see what others think..
