Question for FX 5 useres I notice the motor of my FX 5 stop working so I decided to open the part with impeller and cleaned it, the magnet seems to be perfect no signs of anything but when I re assembled it it was making noise does it need replacement?

what kind of noise is it making?

Sounds like the impeller is not supported correctly. I wish I remembered how it goes together but its been almost a year since I opened my pump last.

Take it apart again.

Also, when the pump was off, was this during the 24 hour 2 minute shutoff cycle?

I took it apart already it's kinda quiet when it's not attached to the canister...it stop or got stock I don't know if during the 2min shut off but one thing's for sure it was stuck cause after taking it apart it was working again properly when I returned it together.

How long have you had this Fx5?

That doesn't mean it was stuck. If the pump is off for the 2 minutes, it will start up if you unplug it and plug it back in, whether you take it off or not.

Did you try just unplugging it and plugging it back in the first time?
