Well this weekend I was doing a pump clean on the beast and clean it out and open the valves to let the water in and let the pump do it's thing. Well after 2 min went bye I was OK then 4min I said enough already. I drained the pump of water and pull the motor, it spun free and when I plug it in it work so I was like WTF. So I clean the motor and load everything back in and after 2min it work. So can anyone tell me why something like that would happen? Oh and the pump is like 6months old and the pump is load with Bio-max.

sometimes when I plug mine in after cleaning the impellar and such it will turn off after running for 2 or three minutes, and it stays off for a while, but it always comes back on. Have you made sure that the impellar isnt stuck and dirty and all that?
When you fill the pump up and turn it on it runs for 2mins and then shuts down to purge air out and then turns on after two mins mine never kick back on after 2mins. So I pull the pump and clean the impropellar and it work, I just thought it was weird to not come back on after 2mins
