Fx 6 intake broke.

I was moving this thing to clean and the hinge on the filter intake snapped.

Is there any sort of water proof duck tape i can use that is also aquarium safe? Fluval said it can take 2 weeks to ship me a new one.

If you have these you know it comes a part right in the middle for easy cleaning. This is where a hinge snapped

Bind it with a rubber band until you can get a replacement.....and as Timmy said,check with a lfs or possibly Ebay.
