fx filter question

Who uses the fx5 just for polishing water and what do u think about it

I don't think many people do. The fx5 is terrible at polishing the water. The polishing pads get clogged up so quickly I would have to clean/change them every couple of days. I use mine manly for bio.

I had polishing bads in mine when I first got them usually a couple times a week they would start to blow out air bubbles knew they were clogged so ended up having to clean them atleast once a week sometime more. Needless to say I no longer have them in my filters.
