FX5 and Micro bubbles

Iv had this filter since christmas and the last 48 hrs its been pumping out alot of microbubbles, soo small it looks like sand or dirt. Iv tried emptying out the filter, then filling it back up with the 8 liters it asks for, iv tried just unplugging it and let it reprime itself. All my connections are tight and the in and out parts with hose are fully submerged so i know its not sucking air. The o-ring or whatever in the lid is there,good cond, and the lid it nice and tight on. Anything else i can try???

clean it. shake it? horrible advice. if you were to have used the search button on the left side of your screen you would have seen the great number of threads on this very topic.

Try some Vaseline or petroleum jelly on the o rings/seals, all off them. Don't shake it but yeah tilting it back and forth can remove pockets of air caught in the system. No need to be violent with it though.
