FX5 and SNAILS???

Why am I getting tiny little snails in my FX5 filter ??????? Everytime I clean my filter there's always a bunch of tiny little snails, I clean the filter the
Media and everything in that canister but they keep showing up??? There's none in my tank just the FX5??? Please help are they good or will they cause harm to my fish?

I have the same thing in my rena xp3 that means snail eggs got in there some where, they shouldn't harm your fish. I took my filter apart and rinsed everything in extremely hot water and I haven't seen it since.
