FX5 arrives today. I need help with Filter Media?

I heard it doesn't come with filter media. Does anyone know where I can buy some or what do you use? I thought it came with media.

Just fill all three baskets with bio media, like Seachem Matrix. Buy 3 large media bags as well.

Buy whatever biological media they have at ur lfs (bio max matrix api chem stars etc) the fx5 holds 1.5 gallons so buy a lot! 4-5 boxes, rinse under warm water and put them in each tray. Make sure all the baskets interlock and ur good! the huge sponges take care of the mechanical filtration!

Cheapest bet is buying in bulk online and finding a deal on shipping. You can buy Seachem Matrix in 4L containers. Try Amazon, Marine Depot... You probably need about 6L.

I put 5 liters of eheim substrate pro in mine. It wasn't to cheap but works great I paid $69.

I put the Fluval pre filter in the top basket and bio max in the last 2 and it works like a charm on my FX5.
