It comes with everything, that was originally bought brand new. Nothing is missing. The white foam filter pads are cleaned and ready to go. I have filter media if you are interested in purchasing them separately I have bioballs and ceramic rings, I have enough of each to fill all 3 baskets of the fx5 (which is alot).
