I just setup an FX5 on my new 150 and I am not impressed with the flow. It seems as if the flow from my 404 is stronger...I know that the FX5 is split into two however it just seems weaker...Anyone else have this problem?

What media have you put in there and how is it arranged. When I first set mine up the EfiSubstrat Pro and floss I put in restricted the flow until I altered things slightly.
I don't necessessarily need a ton of flow due to the fact that there will be an Aro in the tank who would probably appreciate the lack of flow. I just wanted to make sure it was normal!
Mine is full of BIo media in all the bins and one with filter floss and it flows like crazy. My output nozzles vibrate the flow is so strong
they start off slow, then speed up when it wants. its a "smart" filter. but i dont even like them lol. my aros prefer water flow and current. they like the current cuz it gives them something to swim against. but i'd take a w/d over an fx5 anyday
