fx5 impeller help!

So I woke up this morning and my fx5 exhaust has been reduced by about 90%. To clean the impeller, do I need to take out the 3 screws on the orange lid of the housing unit??? Please help! If I do, it looks like i need a special alan wrench to take them out.

Ok, I did do what the manual said, it just took 3 times for me to even get good water movement out of my exhaust. It's still not up to where it used to be but, it's a hell of a lot better. Should I take it out and do it again?

Is it clean? Did You clean the impeller?

The impeller is the little circle unit with the seal on it correct??? If so, I took that out like 3 different times washed it all 3 times. Didn't work until the 3rd time, i put water in the orange part, put the impeller back in, gave it a few spins with water in it, dumped water out and started her back up. Getting movement now but only about 70%. Should I redo this again to see if it helps???

These impellers typically wear out in 2 months? Any other ideas on what can help me out?
