That channel cat can literally grow to the length of your 75. The bala shark would also enjoy a much bigger tank and a few more friends

this i know but the rest of the bala died had three thats what i get for going to petsmart the first and last time i do that wife was in target and said why not they looked good to me and now the rest of my fish are sick with ich and i will get a bigger tank when i get more room

You can't have too much filtration, but you can have too much water flow. As long as the fish aren't being blasted around the tank when they leave the shelter of the rock I'm sure it's fine.

No way. As long as it does not stress out your fish. I am running an fx5 on my 75 with 1 Ecat. I thought that the fx5 would cause to much or a current, but with the dual outlets it really does not create that much or a current in my tank.
